Why David Oliver ?

I have over 35 years experience in private practice. I qualified in 1985 and began working as a private practitioner in Derrys Department Store along with a domiciliary practice that included nursing/residential homes, and homes and day centres for people with special needs, Age Concern and commercial appointments. I expanded the Derrys practice and worked with 3 Associates whilst setting up my second practice from at my home. I worked as a part-time lecturer and examiner at the Plymouth School of Podiatry and for many years presented to 3rd year students on private practice.

After the closure of Derrys department store I now work solely from my practice located at my home.

I was born and bred in Plymouth and trained as a podiatrist in the Plymouth School of Podiatry. I have lived in Plymstock since the age of five where I have established my practice. I have a wife and two daughters.

Outside of podiatry I am a keen runner, have run many marathons and triathlons including Full distance Iron Man, which complements my interest in sports injuries.
